Thoughtful with a dose of honesty, as life is far from perfect

Carina Paper Co. is a thoughtful boutique stationery company specializing in the design of letterpress greeting cards, notepads and other gift items. Carina Paper Co. was founded by me, Emily Marks, in Akron, Ohio. Carina means "pretty" or "nice" in Italian and seemed like the perfect fit for me given my love for my Italian heritage. What started out as a side hustle slowly turned into my full time career after the birth of my first little boy. I have a background in consulting (actually in accounting…who knew accountants could be creative?!) and a love for all things paper.  I pride myself on strong communication skills, attention to detail, thoughtfulness and humor. My work is a reflection of my heart as a mom, wife, daughter and friend. I am a firm believer that cards spread goodness in the world and are, quite possibly, the easiest way to let someone know how loved they are. When I am not designing stationery, I can be found traveling the world with my husband and three little kids or hanging out outdoors with my giant Newfoundland, Seamus.
